The current generation of the Dicovery/LR3 is 11 years old. For reference, at the time of its debut in 2004 the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was in its first generation, and so was the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . You could also walk onto a dealer lot and purchase a brand-spanking new !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , or an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !
The Disco3 received numerous visual and mechanical updates over its life, and was even renamed LR4 to symbolize how far it’s come. But the chassis, body, some drivetrains, and interior remain basically the same.
Not that there’s a burning reason to change it. I think it still looks great and contemporary, though I prefer the unabashed upright-ness of the 2004, un-facelifted Disco. Keep on truckin’, mate!

A friend of mine has a 2005 LR3 in silver. Fun rig to ride around in.

I agree. The Disco 3 is probably the Land Rover I desire the most at the moment. Not really sure why but yeah a good truck that.
Also if I did get one I’d probably apply a bunch of offroading parts because damn it they take to them so well.

If you’re in America, yes. Elsewhere it remains a Discovery.
